Yumvoy Terms of Service

Effective date: November 1, 2026

Welcome to Yumvoy. Yumvoy is an app and website that helps people find food trucks across the United States, and helps food trucks tell customers where they are. Yumvoy is run by Afrijamz Consult LLC, a Texas company (“Yumvoy”, “we”, “us”).

These terms apply to everyone who uses the Yumvoy app or yumvoy.com: customers looking for food, and food truck owners who list their truck (“vendors”). By creating an account or using Yumvoy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Yumvoy.

1. Who can use Yumvoy

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Yumvoy.
  • To list a food truck, you must be at least 18 years old and allowed to act for the truck’s business.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with your account.

2. For customers

Finding trucks. Truck names, menus, prices, photos, hours, regular stops and open signs come from the trucks themselves. We work to keep the map accurate, but we cannot promise that a truck is open, at its pin, serving a certain item, or charging a certain price.

“On my way”. When you tap “On my way”, the truck sees only a number of customers coming. It never sees your name, your account or your location. Your rough location is checked once to make sure you are within reach of the truck, and it is not stored. Sharing stops when you arrive or cancel.

Following a truck. Following a truck lets you get an alert when it opens and a reminder before its regular stops. The list of trucks you follow is kept on your phone.

Your food. Your purchase is between you and the truck. Yumvoy does not make, sell, handle or deliver food, and is not responsible for food quality, safety, allergens, prices, refunds or service. Please ask the truck directly about ingredients and allergies.

Catering requests and Order ahead. You can ask a truck to cater an event. Yumvoy only passes your request to that truck. Any quote, deposit, contract or payment is between you and the truck. The Order ahead button opens the truck’s own ordering page, run by another company, and those orders are between you, the truck and that company. Please do not send fake or repeated requests.

Reports. You can report a truck that is not where its pin says, or that breaks these terms. Please report honestly. False or repeated reports may lead to your account being limited.

3. For food truck vendors

Your listing. You agree that everything you enter (truck name, foods, menu, prices, photos, phone, home zip code, regular stops and hours) is true and kept up to date.

Licenses and permits. When you sign up, you confirm that your truck holds every license, permit, health inspection, insurance policy and tax registration that your city, county and state require, and that you will keep them current. Yumvoy does not check or approve permits. You alone are responsible for following food safety, health, parking, zoning and tax laws wherever you serve.

The open sign and your pin. When you switch your sign to Open, your pin is placed where your phone is. Only open the sign when your phone is at your truck and you are serving. Your truck closes by itself at your closing time, or after 16 hours. Faking your location, or opening when you are not serving, may lead to your truck being paused.

Count of customers on the way. You see how many customers tapped “On my way”. You will never see who they are. Please do not try to identify customers.

Reports about your truck. If several customers who arrived at your pin report that your truck was not there on the same day, your sign may be closed automatically. You can open it again from your truck.

Featured ads. On the Featured plan you may send one picture and one short line of text. Every new or changed ad is checked by Yumvoy before it shows. We may resize or touch up your ad picture so it fits every ad spot. Ads must be about your own food, truck or deals only. Ads may not promote alcohol, tobacco, vaping, adult content or other businesses, and may not include links or phone numbers. We may decline or remove any ad. Featured spots are shared among nearby trucks and are not guaranteed to show at every moment.

Rewards. Customers can send your truck cheers. Yumvoy may name a Fan Favorite truck in a city each month, and may give free time or a free Featured month as a prize. If another truck signs up with your truck code and makes its first payment, you get one free month (as a credit on your next Stripe bill, or free time if you have no plan yet). Free time, prizes and referral months have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and we may change or end these rewards at any time. Signing up fake trucks to earn rewards is not allowed.

Catering requests and your ordering link. Customers can send you catering requests unless you switch them off. Use the contact details in a request only to answer it, and do not add them to mailing lists. Any catering deal is between you and the customer. If you add an Order ahead link, it must go to your own ordering page for your own truck.

Permission to show your content. You keep ownership of your photos, menu and words. You give Yumvoy permission to show, resize and share them in the app, on yumvoy.com and in Yumvoy’s own promotion, for as long as your truck is listed. You confirm you have the right to everything you upload.

4. Plans and payments (vendors)

Plans. A truck appears on the map while it has an active plan:

  • Monthly: $19.99 per month
  • Founding: $14.99 per month for the first 100 trucks to join
  • Yearly: $199 per year
  • Featured: $39.99 per month, including a Featured ad

Prices are in US dollars and do not include any sales tax that may apply.

Founding price. If your truck gets the Founding price, your truck account keeps $14.99 per month on the Monthly plan for as long as Yumvoy offers its service, even if you try Featured or take a break and come back. The Founding price belongs to that truck account and cannot be transferred.

First month free. New trucks get their first month free, once per truck and once per payment card. A card is required to start. If you do not cancel before the free month ends, your plan starts and your card is charged.

Automatic renewal. Plans renew automatically each month or year and your card is charged at the start of each period until you cancel.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Yumvoy never sees or stores your full card number. Stripe’s own terms also apply to your payments.

Changing plans. You can change plans in the app at any time. When you move to a higher or lower plan, the price difference for the rest of the current period is added to or taken off your next bill.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from “Card, receipts or cancel” in the app. Your truck stays on the map until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not give refunds for partly used periods, unless the law requires it.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, your truck stays on the map for 3 more days while Stripe tries again. After that, your truck is taken off the map until payment goes through.

Price changes. We may change plan prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you. Founding prices are not changed this way.

5. Rules for everyone

You agree not to:

  • give false information, or pretend to be another person or truck;
  • fake your location, or misuse “On my way”, reports or follows;
  • harass, threaten or try to identify other users;
  • post anything illegal, hateful, violent, sexual, or that you do not have the right to share;
  • copy, scrape, resell or interfere with Yumvoy, its map or its servers, or get around its limits or security;
  • use Yumvoy for anything illegal.

6. Pausing and closing accounts

We may pause or remove a truck or account that breaks these terms, puts customers at risk, or receives repeated reports. When we pause a truck, it is hidden from customers and we email the vendor. Pausing a truck does not cancel its Stripe plan; the vendor can cancel any time in the app. You can stop using Yumvoy and delete your account at any time.

7. Privacy

Yumvoy is built to keep as little about you as possible. Our Privacy Policy at yumvoy.com/privacy/ explains what we keep and why.

8. App stores

If you downloaded Yumvoy from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and Afrijamz Consult LLC, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its support. Their store rules also apply.

9. No warranties

Yumvoy is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error free, or that any truck information is correct.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Afrijamz Consult LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or lost profit damages, or for anything that happens between customers and food trucks, including food, illness, injury, prices or lost sales. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Yumvoy in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

11. Vendor responsibility

If you are a vendor, you agree to cover Afrijamz Consult LLC for any claims, costs or losses that come from your food, your truck, your ads, your content, or your breaking these terms or the law.

12. Texas law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Fort Bend County, Texas, unless the law where you live says otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Yumvoy grows. If a change is important, we will tell vendors by email or in the app before it applies. If you keep using Yumvoy after a change, you accept the new terms.
